The Clatskanie Parks and Recreation District maintains two large covered picnic areas and one smaller area within the Clatskanie City Park. The picnic areas are spacious enough to accommodate large groups.
A gazebo is also located in the park and includes four picnic tables for smaller groups. The covered picnic areas and gazebo can be reserved from the District by calling (503) 728-2757.
In addition to the covered picnic areas, multiple uncovered picnic areas are located throughout the parks. Many of the picnic tables are located along the Clatskanie River, offering a peaceful view while you eat your meal.
